I'm on the Board of Me Fine, a small nonprofit dedicated to helping families with children in medical crisis who need a little extra support - both finanical and emotional. Me Fine is celebrating its 20th Birthday! This is no small feat as most nonprofits don't make it to year 10. Covid did test us, but that is when we were needed the most and resolved to push through.  And, here we are to year 20!  

I created my own fundraising page to do my part and my goal is $2,500! Please consider donating to help Me Fine bridge the gap for these families in need to allow them to put their family first! 

Help Me Fine Make a Difference Year-Round!

Despite the growing pains of a small nonprofit, the changes in the healthcare landscape, a global pandemic, and whatever else the universe has thrown at Me Fine, I’ve come to realize that doing good never gets old. Our drive to meet families where they are and offload some of the burdens that weigh so heavily on them is just as strong today as it was the first time Lori decided to do something about it. - Joey Powell, Me Fine ED

At Me Fine, our mission to support families during their most challenging times is ongoing—and so is the need for your support. Last year, we provided assistance to 707 families, but as resources from other organizations shrink, the demand for our help continues to grow. The average amount needed per family referral increased from $325 in 2022 to $360 in 2023, reflecting the rising challenges families face.

This is where you can make a difference. We need your help spreading awareness for our campaign and inviting your peers to raise funds to support Me Fine families. Your support will enable us to continue meeting urgent needs, offering hope and relief to families facing medical crises.

There are two things you can do right now to help:

1. Create your own peer-to-peer fundraising team. To get started, simply create an account and set up your page on our platform.

2. Share our campaign on social media. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok - whatever you use to post, like or comment, let your followers know about this campaign and why it matters to you.

Every dollar raised helps to ease the burden on families when they need it most. Together, we can create a community of care and compassion that makes a lasting difference.
